P: Smart Object with advanced transform crashes when replacing content with different size

Photoshop crashes if you have a smart object with an advanced transform, and replace content with an image of a different size.
To replicate:
1. File/Place Embedded... or File/Place Linked...
2. Edit/Transform/Distort
3. Edit/Transform/Warp
4. Right click layer/Replace Contents... or Relink to File...
5. Crash

Windows 10, Photoshop 2015.5.1

It does not matter if the new object has the same effective size (1000x1000px 300dpi vs 500x500px 150dpi).

This means I can not work with lower resolution files, and use smart objects as intended.

Hi Conny,

Thanks for the report. I can reproduce this issue and will work with engineers to investigate. Really appreciate your exact steps to consistently reproduce.

I am on the latest update of Photoshop using Windows 10 and this is happening to me as well. Did this issue resurface? I am doing a Edit/Perspective Warp, but all other steps are the same as the original post.
