P: Tab order on save dialog is inconsistent with other programs

For the last couple of years there is a tiny but annoying bug in the save dialog. When it first appeared some time ago I kept waiting for it to be fixed but to no avail.

I always use the current version of Photoshop, and it has been present for I think the last year or two on macOS (Also always latest).

Prerequisite:

  1. I have 'Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls' checked in macOS System Prefs>Keyboard>Shortcuts for rapidly interacting with dialogs throughout macOS
  2. Have an open file in Photoshop with unsaved changes

Prior to this bug the behaviour of Photoshop (and this is how most other programs on Mac OS work) was as follows:

Expected Result:

[Cmd + W] to initiate the close dialog, then either:

  1. [Space] to choose Save as it is already selected
  2. [Tab] to switch to Don't Save, then [Space] to choose

Actual Result:

[Cmd + W] to initial the close dialog, then either:

  1. [Space] to select Save (fine)
  2. The first [Tab] selects Save again (why??)
  3. The second [Tab] selects Don't Save
  4. Now you can push [Space] to choose Don't Save

This is really only a pain because in most other programs such as Illustrator I can go through and close heaps of open files rapidly, choosing saving or not saving as required. When I do it in Photoshop I have to change the system I use for no good reason and I often select save rather than discard by mistake as it's inconsistent.

Thanks!
