P: Why is the "Relative" checkbox state in the Canvas Size dialog no longer saved across sessions?

Previously, Photoshop would automatically save the state of the "Relative" check box in the Canvas Size dialog across sessions, even after Photoshop was closed.

Now, with recent versions (Photoshop 19.1.3) this choice is no longer saved across sessions.

Why??

Some of us always use the same workflow, i.e. resizing in a "Relative" way.  Having to make sure this box is checked is clumsy, and frankly a wasted click.

Can Photoshop please remember the state of the checkbox across sessions again, which is the way this dialog used to behave?

Thank you.

This issue should be fixed in the Photoshop CC 2018 (19.1.4) release which is now available.

Please update Photoshop CC 2018 via the Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if you continue to have any trouble.

Good catch. I've asked the engineers to look into this.
