P: Why was auto-complete in File Info removed from the latest (2014) version?

When using the File Info section of the previous version of PS CC prior to the newest 2014 version, I could simply type in the first one or two letters of any of the fields and the program would auto-fill (or suggest) the rest of the text for that field. With the newest (2014) version of PS CC it isn't doing that...and I'm told this feature was no longer included in the newest version. To me that's ridiculous that they removed this feature, as it saved me a ton of time. Is there any way that we can request that this auto-complete feature be reinstated into the newest version?

Are you using Photoshop CC 2019 (version 20.x)? This feature was restored in the latest version.

Adobe is joining the list of companies that do not value their customers
They think that have everyone hooked via the subscription
But several other companies are coming up to speed and Adobe will lose customers
Especially if they continue to disrespect us

Completely agree with Carole here above. Why is there no reply at all from Adobe, btw?

Not quite - needs to retain the last used template in the drop down box instead of having to select it every time

Clearly Adobe is turning a deaf ear to the many repetitions of this complaint. Benighted fools at Adobe.

It displays scrollable list with 5 entries being visible at a time. If a customer wants to, they can clear this list as well.

Thanks for response Jeffrey
It does not fully replicate the previous flash based File Info panel in Photoshop CC 2014 (14.2.1) and before.  Can you offer feedback to the dev team to restore it?  Specifically the last used template being already selected in the "Template Fo.." drop down box when opening the next image. CC 2019 you need to select it then navigate the drop down list every time to select the saved template.  It's a couple of extra mouse clicks to accomplish the same thing on CC 2019 but soon adds up when editing and captioning many images.
