Photomerge doens't work directly on Apple Silicon Mac

Hi! I'm using the newest version of Photoshop on Mac, Apple Silicon (M2 Pro) 13.2.1.

When I use the Photomerge function, I open up the dialog, choose photos and click "OK", and then nothing will happen! No files will be opened and no any feedback, it just don't work! However, if I use Adobe Bridge and use that to open photomerge in Photoshop, then it works properly after I click on "OK".

I've tried reset all settings and restart my computer. Sometimes restart can fix it shortly but it will again fail after a few times of merge. I also experienced such problem on another Apple Silicon Mac (M1 Max) 12.6.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

Thanks for the help! But I tried the way you mentioned to manually remove the settings folder but it still doesn't work. Also, I tried open photoshop with rosettta 2 but it's the same.
