Photos won't open in Photoshop 2024

I recently installed Photoshop Editor 2024. When I double-click on an image or do an “Open with Photoshop Editor 2024,” it takes me to Photoshop Editor but the photo doesn't open. I can only get the photo to open if I open it from Photoshop Editor through File => Open.

Yikes, yes, I meant Photoshop Elements 2024. I wish there was a way to edit the message!
