Photoshop (and Lightroom) crashes on my 2020 iMac when I try to open any type of files. The app opens when clicking on the icon, but whatever file I try to open in Photoshop the app crashes immediately. Also if I right click on a file and choos Photoshop. I can open Photoshop without opening a file and go to preferences though.
I'm sure the problem started after Photoshop was updated to the 2022 version. I was on macOS BigSur when it updated, and I tried to solve the problem without any luck, so I updated to Monterey. That didn't solve the problem.
I have gone through all steps on the support page. Photoshop has got the disk permissions it needs. I have disconnected the GPU. I have deleted preferences. I have started holding the shift key down so my plugins will not load, but the same happens when opening a file. When I get the error report it tells me that there is a solution to the problem, and I have to move "Adobe Design to Print" plugin, but it is not installed on my Mac.
So here I am not able to use Photoshop (and Lightroom) and as aphotographer it's a bad situation to be in...!
