Photoshop CC Liquify window showing up black / not working

Couple months old Macbook Pro 14-inch 2021- Monterey OS version 12.2.1

Apple M1 Pro chip, 16gb memory

No update for Photoshop CC available. Randomly Liquify tool will not work- opens into a black window where just the toggle sliders show. Restarted photoshop, restarted computer- problem persists. Screenshot attached.

Hi @antiorder sorry to hear this. Curious how much Ram your system has? Liquify requires a lot of RAM. One thing to try:

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Oh nooooo, Photoshop Liquify has stopped working on my system, and I really need it.

I reset my preferences, initialized my system, and disabled native canvas. Nothing helped!
