photoshop closes without reason

Hi,

ever since the second last update from photoshop, I'm having issues !!

selecting a new brush causes a block in photoshop (nothing can be done - screen remains.....)

hardly anything can be done, giving a notification there is not enough RAM (although there's more than sufficient RAM on the computer) : choosing a background (cannot be imported as there's not enough RAM), selecting subject (same - not enough RAM).... this is really frustrating. with the update of today, I hoped this would be solved, but unfortunately, the same happens 

Can you please please PLEASE help me to fix this ? this is what I got trying to change the brush size...

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
