Photoshop: Could not complete your request because of a program error (in the year 2023)

I see that this is often posted problem and posts are dating from 2019. It's 2023 and I can't find any fix to this problem. I did try everything that is sugested in "learn how to fix". 
The photoshop would perform the task eventually but not before I repeted it 3-5 times. Also, sometimes it would perform without the annoying message but in most cases I would get the message. 
Any fix to this?

Hi @MilenaTos can you go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste the details here? Only post them once - the system takes time to process the large response.

It's not that your GPU is old - it's not compatible or meets the minimum requirements for current Photoshop builds. Turning off the GPU wont resolve this either as certain processes are GPU required.

Your GT 640 is not DirectX12 supported, nor does it meet the recommended speed requirements of 2,000 ops/sec. Your card clocks in at under 700 ops/sec.

You can try going to Preferences/Technology Preview and check "Older GPU Mode (2016)" but even if that works, it's on borrowed time.

Your two options are to downgrade Photoshop to a compatible previous verison and not upgrade or upgrade your graphics card to a newer/compatible model.
