Photoshop Issues 2025 with Windows

So I use Photoshop to illustrate and draw on and as of the past two days it is acting like I am drawing everything on one layer when I'm not so colors are blending and smudging. From all my other times I know it should not be doing this so I am very very confused. This happened after I updated it earlier last week. For more clarity I use an HP laptop and run it on Windows 11. I'll attach a screenshot that has the lineart layer and the base coloring layer to show what is happeing.

@Peaceful_inventor5FE5 it would be better if you posted a full screenshot of the Photoshop interface with all the pertinent panels opened
