Photoshop text is not readable when trying to type....

I was using Photoshop just fine. Then today, when I opened photoshop, this started to happen. I can't edit any text this way. I can't read it. I'm using the photoshops latest version v25.4. I also tried with v24.7.2. All my graphics drivers are up to date. No other program was installed or uninstalled before this problem started to occur. I have also uninstalled and re-installed photoshop and no result. All the photoshop preferences and settings are default. Please help...

is it occurring if you change the text color? It seems that the selection is white and the text color is white too. So you cannot see anything.

Thank you for the quick reply! It has nothing to do with the text color. The problem persists with other colors as well. But I think I found out the problem. After I downgraded to the v22.2, the problem was solved. So I realized it was definitely a problem related to photoshop. Then I have opened the v25.4 again, and by pure luck when I disabled the bottom-most layer, it turned out that there was a kind of a bug that interfered with the displaying of the text. So when I disabled that layer, the problem was fixed. This is like the 3rd bug that I'm facing related to the latest version. Guess I will keep using the 2021 version for a bug-free experience...Thank you for the reply anyway. I really appreciate it!
