Problem with curve scaling in the Property panel

Explain why the latest version of Adobe Photoshop made changes that worsened the display of the curves panel interface?

The curve graph has become much smaller, why is this?

To make the curves look bigger, I need to scale the panel, but in that case there is an empty space.

Just drag the bottom left corner out to make adjustments. Make it as big as you want.

Your display (16.2 inches) is a bit small- perhaps you should just get a bigger display? I have a 32" inch display and would not change it.

I disagree, as this is not the correct solution.
The problem exists only in the latest version of Photoshop and is not related to the display. I tested it on both a 16" MacBook and 27" monitors.
When I drag the bottom left corner, it does work, but there are other tools under that panel that no longer fit. Everything looked great in previous versions. Now it behaves strangely and unpredictably.

I just noticed the same thing. I've had my panels in my third monitor linked and locked for years the same way and now they don't fit right when I have to make the properties panel taller to get the larger curves panel. And seeing the empty space here will forever anger me. Seems like a fixable gremlin to me.

No steps needed. I updated the software, restarted Photoshop and my custom workspace loaded and I discovered the curves adjustment panel was nearly half the size it was previously in the same window space.
