Psb file Opens with nothing it

Ok so I have been editing this picture, and after a certain point, photoshop prompted me to turn the file into a PSB. I did this around 3 days ago and have been editing the picture as a PSD file, well, this morning, I got on my computer to start editing again, and when I opened the file, nothing was there. there is a background layer that is locked, like when you create a new file, and that's it. This file is saved on my computer, so I'm thinking well let's see if the file now says 0GB instead of 1.8GB, and it still does have 1.8GB so I know that this file has something in it but Photoshop is just doing something wrong
