I found a reproducible bug in Photoshop when exporting a file.

(I apologize if there are any discrepancies in wording as I am using the Japanese version)

  1. Version of the app: Photoshop 26.2.0 (and 25.x)
  2. Platform and OS version: Windows 10 Pro (22H2)
  3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem
Preferences > Workspace > With Open Documents in Tabs turned off,
Select Save a copy and select the file format in which the Save Options exists.
(Save Options dialog may appear for only first opened file after launching Photoshop)
     Example: TIFF, TGA, etc.
  4. Expected result and actual result
Save Options dialog should appear, but it does not and the file is saved as is.
Example: Dialog box for compression format, file bit depth, etc.

Hey @itsuros!

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue yet. Could you share a video recording showing the issue? That would be really helpful. Also, could you share a screenshot of your Export Settings? You can find it under Edit > Preferences > Export.

Thanks so much!

I would try a reset of the Photoshop preferences:
