Trying to just export a simple animation file

I am just trying to export a very simple video file and it keeps getting suck on "Initializing Video Export" forever and bugs out. This is really frustrating because this file is so simple this should not be an issue at all. It seems that other people have had this issue for YEARS and there is still not a fix. This seems like a major problem for there to be no fix for.
