Has anyone noticed that the ZOOM TOOL in the latest version of Photoshop does not let you use a graphics pen to "zoom" in or out?

By pressing Z the image/layer increases dramatically in size!

Does anyone have any suggestions, please?    Phil

PS: As an update, when I use the Z key and attempt to zoom I get a marching ant box appear!

You can try this
Go to Preferences > Technology Previews > check "Disable Native Canvas"
 > restart Photoshop.

And To help you understand what you're going through more clearly, record it with a gif or video record and show it to them so that Adobe knows better.

Hi @phil180 thank you for the post.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you,

God, I gotta stop working on my day off... when I read ZOOM... I thought that you meant that there was a new integration in Photoshop for Zoom meetings... and I was like that makes no sense.  Then I was like oh ZOOOOOMMMM..... lol.  Silly me.
