2021 vs 2022

Can and should I remove Photoshop 2021 if I have 2022 installed? Thank you

Many of us keep the old version around for a while just in case we encounter a bug in the new version. So unless you are short of disk space, my advice would be to keep it for now.

The short and simple answer is: Yes. 

If you need to roll back, use Creative Cloud application, next to the product you want to revert, click on... pick "other versions"

Both versions will ocuppy more disc space. If you have plenty of space you may want to keep both versions just in case like some bug while closing to deadline for project. Otherwise you can install previous version anytime you want as already explained.
