I do retouching for a living and don't rush to jump into .0 updates for fear of bugs disrupting work.
Somehow I updated to 23.0 by accident (wanted to do just the 22.5.x latest update), it freaked me out a bit. But tested it out and so far I'm pleasantly surprised (MacOS 11.6, Mac Pro 2019):
Brush cursor is now visible on HiDPI display!!
Guides ruler markings Command + R seem to be updated and having them on doesn't seem to slow down anymore
Free transform seems faster and works
Sometimes the filters seem faster, haven't measured
I can confirm liquify works
My old actions work, including one with a simple script
There's a new fun Object Selection Tool, in magic wand menu
Love the new startup pic
There’s changes in saving PSB files I don’t yet fully understand. They appear to be positive.
That said it's only been an hour using it.. Hopefully all will stay good.
Great work Adobe team, keep it up!

I just tried the Object Selection Tool and it's really ace! Nice work Adobe!
I played with the Style Transfer neural filter, and using my own style source photograph quickly managed to make Photoshop very unhappy and in need of restart. But that was just playing. The selection tool is far more important.
