Anyone else have this issue? Tried restarting PC, and was previously on 25 which also didn't allow me to click and drag in images anymore. Is this supposed to be a feaure? Anyone else have this issue or a possible workaround?

I've had an issue where PS has not allowed me to click and drag images in for nearly 1 year now and have not had any help on how to resolve. I've been upgrading and downgrading versions with no luck resolving. Cleanly installing and reinstalling, restarting my PC, etc and nothing seems to work. Just gives me a deny symbol every time I try.
I've been having to literally use the open function each time then duplicate onto my PSD file which is maddening. I've reported this issue months ago and it's still not fixed...
This is on Windows 10 with 64GB of RAM, 5750X CPU, 3090 GPU.
