32 bit colour correction surely !!

It's nearly 2017 and photoshop still doesn't support 32 bit colour correction. Will this feature be added at any point ? I feel we've waited long enough !

Hi Steve

You can do some colour correction with Levels (which makes far more sense in the linear space than it does in the gamma corrected spaces) and Hue and Saturation is still available.

However , you are right in that not all 16 bit tools are available.  I would suggest you  submit a feature request to the forum below, saying which tools you would like to see in 32 bit (or even a new tool if you would like to see it developed separately). It is more likely to be seen by Adobe staff there.

Thanks Dave. I'll submit a feature request. I can't believe I'll be the first one to do it for this feature. Many 3d artists use 32bit format as it gives control over exposure in a way 16 & 8 bit imagery cannot emulate. Not having any other tools to manipulate in 32bit seems odd to me for a photographic/design package.
