3D extrusion problem

After the last update (probably even the 2021 ver.) I'm unable to create a 3D extrusion from any layer, be it a text or a png.

I'd choose the "create 3d extrusion from layer" option, then I won't be able to do anything, the moment I press anything on the screen the layer either disappears or it turns into lines like the photo attached.

Can this be fixed from my side?

I'm using Photoshop 22.4.2 on MacOS Big Sur 11.4

To use 3D in Photoshop 22.4.x you first need to go to Preferences > Technology Previews and check "Deactivate Native Canvas". Then close and restart Photoshop.

This is a very old thread. 3D is now removed from current versions of Photoshop. The last version that worked was v22.2 which can still be downloaded. alongside the current version, if you have a subscription.
