I have a legitimate registered PS CS3 on my 2011 Mac mini replacement of my fried previous 2011 Mac mini, transferred via Time Machine. When opened, the alert says I only have 5 days left to use it. I have the box with serial number, but Adobe Help menu doesn't support deactivation on my old Mac so it can be used again on the new used Mac.
is there a way around this? Adobe doesn't even take phone calls for this old version.
Yes, I know I *could* subscribe to CS but will not for just a minimal use I do on PS now. Do they sell a stand-alone version still? I looked and my Mac can use up to PS CS19 -- if Adobe supported the later dot updates (they don't). I guess I'll have to find another app, after being a loyal Adobe user since 1996. And use an iPad.

After 5 days it will stop. Deactivating on the old Mac wouldn't have been possible anyway. Support, licensing everything has ended.,
You can subscribe to Photoshop only for around $10 per month. But it won't run on the Mac you have, for sure. Only macOS systems up to 2 years old are supported.

Activation was discontinued for CS3 and was exchanged for an activation-free CS3 and new serial number. The window for this offer has long closed. Your original disc and serial will not work.
Photoshop Elements might have been an alternative, no subscription needed, but like Photoshop, MacOS 11 is the minimum. I understand some work on a limited income and can't upgrade the hardware and OS, but that is not Adobe's fault either.

If you can use Creative Cloud 2019, there might be a work around. If you do the $10 subscription as suggested above, you may be able to download 2019 from ProDesign Tools: https://prodesigntools.com/creative-cloud-2023-direct-download-links.html
Once you have a subscription in place, download 2019 and install it to use on your older mac. This would be a work around and I am not guarranteeing that it will work, but I helped someone yesterday who needed 2018 and did this and it seems to be working.
