A differentiating line between original and generated layer

I would like to ask on how to create a seamless connection between images, in particular between the original and the generated fill in Photoshop beta.

In most cases, when I generate a fill, one could notice a line separating the original and the generated layer. It's not an actual line but that the difference between the two blended images could be seen, when in fact there should be a seamless connection between images. This becomes visible when the original is a gradient-colored, and then the generated layer has a different casting of the gradient-coloring.

See samples attached.

Anyone encountered this?

Thanks in advance for any advice and help.

You need to overlap more of the original with the selection like this

That gives Gen Fill a chance to blend the new content

Yes, I did the overlap, in different points. But still this.

I stand corrected. You are very much right. I went further the original image to use for the overlap, and it did the job.
Many thanks, Trevor.
