A single file is making Photoshop to run slow on Windows

I am having an issue with some files which appears to be normal but when I try to open it takes some time to load and after opening the file makes photoshop laggy. These files have tiff formating and they have like single layer, when I copy this layer my pc hangs for a minute and then its copied. Help!!!!
