Downloaded a series of .abr files from CC but when I go to install the wretched things they are not in Photoshop-Pre-Sets-Brushes at all so where have they gone?

Hi Michael,

We're sorry to hear that the brush presets are not showing in Photoshop. We're here to help!

Which version of Photoshop are you using? Have you imported them? Have you installed the presets?

If not, go to the Brushes Panel (Window > Brushes) and click the fly-out menu in the top right corner. Select Import Brushes. Then locate the . abr file on your hard drive and click open to install. Relaunch Photoshop.

The brushes will appear in your Brushes Panel whenever the Brush Tool is selected.

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks,

Ranjisha

Most often downloaded files go into your Downloads folder by default. Do you see the .abr there when you use Finder?

If so, navigate to the Downloads folder (or wherever you moved them) when you choose Import Brushes from the Brushes panel menu.
