Acrylglas freistellen

New Here ,
Jan 24, 2025 Jan 24, 2025

Hi,

LG

Are you wanting to produce a cut-out of an object and then save it with a transparent background as a native PSD or PNG document?

A screen shot would help.

What is the best way to crop it?

By @der_don_25

By definition, cropping will leave you with a rectangle, as all images are rectangles. If that's what you meant, then use the Crop tool, resize, and accept the crop (options bar).

If you meant you want the horseshoe to be on a transparent background, try this:

  • Select the horseshoe with any selection method. You might start with the Object Selection tool, then modify the selection if necessary.
  • In the layers panel, add a layer mask to hide the parts you don't want to see.
  • Then save it as a PNG or PSD, both of which support transparency. For an FYI, JPEG's do not support transparency and will fill in with your Background color (often white).

Getting rid of the background that you can see through the horseshoe will be very difficult, or maybe even impossible.
