Action only doing first and last step

Hi all,

I am new to photography and need to learn how to batch watermark my photos, I have created the action after watching lots of videos but when I reply the action or try to automate it for some reason it only carries out the first and last steps of the action I recorded?

I have attached a screenshot of the action and how the actions between opening the document as saving and closing arent selected and are not able to be selected on the second box.

Any help would be massively appreciated I am at my first event this weekend that will require a large amount of photos to be watermarked in a very short period of time

Okay so now I think I have it working but is there any way to save it as a PNG or JPEG so these can easily be uploaded to facebook for all clients to see and choose to purchase? at the moment they are saving as photoshop docs which cannot be uploaded

Expand the step for "Save" so we can see what it says. Resize your panel wider.

You might need to edit or re-record this step. Steps can be trashed, reordered, and edited.

You can record into the current action or record just the one step in a new action, then drag the step into this action.

Also: do not keep your actions in the set called Default.

• Create a new Set (folder) and name it (could be "My Actions")
• Collapse your watermark action
• Drag your watermark action into your Set (folder)
• Repeat for other actions you have created. Put them in your new Set, not in Default.
• Select the Set > go to the panel menu > Save the Action Set
  Repeat everytime you make a change to the actions in your set
