Actions not working correctly.

I am creating actions to crop and save different layers in a PS document.  The problem is when the action is created, to cropped images are correct.  When I apply the action to a different file, one image always saves a blank(white) file.

Sample layers from my files:

trim 1 - is a black square that I use the TRIM function to crop the image

product view 1 - the artwork to be saved

trim 2 - is a black square that I use the TRIM function to crop the image

product view 2 - the artwork to be saved.

The action says:  this is simplified for description purposes

1.  MAKE A SNAPSHOT

2.  Turn on trim 1

3.  IMAGE > TRIM

4.  Turn on product view 1

5.  SAVE product view 1

6.  Step back to snapshot

7.  Turn on trim 2

8.  IMAGE > TRIM

9.  Turn on product view 2

10.  SAVE product view 2

When I create the action the views save correctly.  But when I apply it to another file, the product view 2 is always a white(blank) file.  And if I have product view 3, product view 4, product view 5.  They all save correctly.  Generally I create the action for 5 to 7 product views.

After struggling with this problem for a few weeks, I finally decided to reach out for help.  Ironically, after reading other peoples problems/suggestions, I determined that I had 2 layers with the same name.  So when the action went to call "front", the action didn't know what to do because there were 2 layers named "front".  Once I changed the name of the conflicting layer the action worked fine.
