My laptop had BSD and rebooted. After that Photoshop opens with a year old set of actions . All the recent ones are gone. I am not sure I saved them as ATN . So my questions are they really gone forever or there mightbe be a chance I coud revover last actions from some hiden folder? For some reasone I always foget to save them as a file.
First, always save actions as .atn documents to recover in the future.
Since you didn't, it may still be possible to locate them. Search for Actions Palette.psp ideally before the update!
Copy Actions Palette.psp from your old backup and replace Actions Palette.psp in your current \Documents and Settings\ folder. May work.

Hi @kirkr5689 if you did not previously save them then they are most likely gone as there would be nothing to recover.

That's great news! Always save to .atn as the .psp route is never guaranteed.
