Adding text to filename via Scripts in PS

Hi
I'm wanting to make a script to add text into the existing filenames of open images, can anyone help? 

Example - 

Filename; 12345678

Filename output; 12345678_SW 
I'm often working with dozens of images at a time and this would be a massive time saver, any help is appreciated.
