Adobe features similar to Smartist or Artrooms

Explorer ,
Jan 01, 2025 Jan 01, 2025

Hi, I've subscribed one year Adobe all Apps plan

I'm painter and I was wondering if Adobe owns an application allowing to show framed or not framed pictures  in a room ... something like Smartist, Artrooms...

I'd like to avoid paying third parties further apps...

Thank you

Patrizia

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

@AnimaedArte

Photoshop has one action that will create a picture frame, but there is no variety. In Illustrator you can do it with gradients manually. I don't know about the other Adobe applications. Maybe Adobe Express has them?

What I do is find vector picture frames in Adobe Stock, then use a clipping path (if necessary) to hide the interior and reveal my image. Why vector? Because resizing the frames in Photoshop converts to pixels and distorts them, while resizing vector artwork in Illustrator does not.

Thank you. Being that feature so basically crucial for a photographer or painter artist, it'd be expected to find it implemented in one or more Adobe apps... I'm quite negatively surprised of this lack of basically useful content... Adobe is quite expensive... If one has to pay also for third parties apps for basic features like this...

In any case, thank you again for your suggestions.

How to give suggestions to Adobe developers?

How to give suggestions to Adobe developers?

By @AnimaedArte

Some teams have Ideas and Bugs within the Community forums while others continue to use another platform called UserVoice. The apps that have Ideas within the forums will have an area for Idea.

Start here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html where you will find the apps listed. Clicking on an app will take you to the forums or to UserVoice where you can post your idea.

Here is a list of all of the forums: https://community.adobe.com/. Click "load more" twice".

You're welcome, but note that I didn't say that this feature is not in any Adobe application. I don't use them all and can't speak to that. Did you check Adobe Express yet? Did you try the Action in Photoshop?
