Adobe Lesson FilesNot in Preview Picture Folder

Hello.  Hope you can help.  I have an Apple MacBook Pro M2.  I downloaded lesson files from the Adobe Photoshop 2023 book into my Picture folder Finder.  They appear just fine but when I open Photoshop to select a lesson and select Pictures to open the file, the files aren't there.  Can anyone tell me what I am missing?  Thanks

Which "Adobe Photoshop 2023 book" did you purchase and download lesson files from?

If it was from the Classroom in a Book series, you downloaded a zip files from Peachpit Press. 

• Unzip the file
• Put the folder in Documents, not Pictures.
• Rename the folder to indicate that it is Photoshop 2023 CIB Class Files
• Optional: drag the folder to your sidebar to make an alias

If it was a different book tell us which one. If you still can't see it, show a screenshot of the dialog where you cannot see the lesson files.
