Adobe Stock Template - Export Object without Background While Keeping Effects

Hi there - Newbie question (i think)!

I'm hoping to export a transparent PNG of the "subject" text just as it looks in the example below. Exporting specific layers leads to loss of the various effects/adjustments/background texture.

How can I grab the text with all the effects but without the rest of the canvas?

Select all of the layers that make the text and effect (it might be just the one layer if it is all done with Layer Styles). Right click and make it/tehm a Smart Object.

Probably the best way to save that as an effect without using a Template is to save it as a layer style.

These Inner Shadow and Bevel & Emboss are pretty close.  Set Fill Opacity to zero.

When you have the effect you were looking for, select the layer and open the Styles panel.

Click on the three bars menu (top right corner) and then on New Style.

From then you can drag that style onto any layer (it does not need to be a Text layer).

It's as easy as that.
