Always a bug with "cmd :" in Photoshop last version

Hi fellows,

I thought the issue was fixed… Unfortunately there is always an issue with the shortcut "cmd :"…

When my image is flatened, the shorcut works perfectly to hide and display landmarks.

But, as soon as I create the first layer, the shortcut starts to lock and unlock selected layer…

It's very strange (and really bothering now), because in the Display menu, the shortcut is well written "cmd :"…

Any help? Solutions? Hope to see this issue fixed soon?

Hi @JF Henane sorry you are having issues. You say this was fixed and now is back, what version of Ps are you on and what version did it work as expected?

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually 

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks for your answer.

I thought it was fixed because 1/ I did what you wrote in your answer and 2/ then I tried on a flatened image but the issue still exists on a layered image. And I'm not the only one who has this problem…

Photoshop is running perfectly, but this kind of shortcut is a great gain of time during my job…

Can you post a screen capture of what you are seeing in "the Display menu"? I'm trying this but don't know what you're referring to.

Ah thanks that helps (its really command; and I saw command : which didn't work for me of course).

I've placed rulers and guides on an image and tried command plus ; and it works as expected here. The image has a lot of layers. I flattened them all, again, the key command works as expected.

You can reset your preferences, but you may wish to back them up first**

But you could also examine if you set up some key command in your Keyboard Shortcuts from that original command to something else, hence why you see this differently from me.

** Navigate to Photoshop's Preferences folder:

MacOS: Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings

Hi,

unfortunately none of these shorcuts works…

But I find a kind of solution… "Cmd h", display and mask Extras, included the landmarks…

Issue is not fixed, but it does the job.
