While creating a new shape with a gradient fill, I try to enter the number for the angle of the gradient that I want (e.g., 180°) the numbers type in backwards (e.g., 081°). I thought that maybe I'd inadvertently hit some code on my keyboard or changed a setting in the application that makes numerals type in backwards, but when I created a text box in the document and type in the same digits, they appeared correctly. When I typed in 081 I got the 180° angle that I wanted. I tried this both with the number keys above the letters on the main keyboard as well as the numbers on the numeral pad and got the same result. I installed the most recent update to Photoshop to see if that corrected the issue and it is still doing the same thing. I've been using Photoshop for 25 years and never encountered this before. Is it a bug or am I just overlooking something I'm doing wrong? I'm using Photoshop 2024 v. 25.1 on Windows 11.
