I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.
If you paint with a mouse, it works normally?

I suspect it's a glitch with the palm rejection on the tablet triggering the crash.. tried it on my MacBook Pro and the same thing happened.
The same glitch happens in other programs although it's not crashing them... but it's making the tablet unusable.. could be time for an upgrade....

Follow up... When the tablet is running in stand-alone mode there's no sign of the palm rejection problem so it seems like theres no hardware issue... continuing to investigate...

Ps... pretty sure the problem was with the cable connector on the Wacom... took the plunge on a Huion replacement ... very nice bit of kit for a quarter of the price I spent on the Wacom at the time...

It's somewhat common to have Wacom driver issues after updating programs such as Photoshop. I find that reinstalling the latest Wacom driver addresses the issue.
