This happened when I entered mask mode, but only at certain stages of the image zoom.

Hi @Wojciech22276647e9uu, Go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

This happens randomly, apart from zoom-in-out. Now, and masks, previews, as well as actual images, are damaged.
