If you have too many actions just drop them in the trash can.

If that's not it, I don't understand what you mean. Post a screenshot.

I have doubles etc of actions but i would like to delete all action and start again

There's a trash can icon in the Actions panel. Just throw everything you don't want in there.

I totaly uninstalled Photoshop 2023 and reinstalled an older version as can be seen from the snap shot I can only delete files to the trash can if they are in the Actions menu but in the drop down list you can not select them to put in the trash can.I have attached a picture of what I have got know.

Thanks for any ideas or help to get rid of all unwanted Actions.

Those are hard-wired defaults installed with the application. You can't delete those.

Just ignore them.

Hi There

Just got everything back as normal, by deleting PS 2023 and not saving anything,and installing  PS 2022 all the actions that was annoying me have disappearedI then updated that old version to the latest PS 2023 and everthing is working as normal.

If the .atn file is saved to the default application/program presets folder as above, the action will be listed and available in the action palette menu. This allows an action to be easily restored if it is removed without having to manually find and load the original .atn file. If there are many actions, this menu may become unwieldy due to the length of the added action sets.
