auto colour auto levels - automatic

ok I made a new action,

record / open / auto colour / auto action / save.

then I tried running the action under the image processor and also tried "batch" under automate.

set the in folder and the out folder, told it to include subfolders and started it up

first it was going ok, then it started prompting me to set the image quality (which I had already specified) so I stopped it.

why would it start to do that?

Maybe the images of difference color space? (RGB, CMYK, LAB, Greyscale)
