Automated batch keeps stopping after 101 images

Hi,

I have PS CC and have an action set up for automating but am finding that the automated batch keeps stopping after 101 images have been through the actions.

Sometimes it's more and sometimes it'll go all the way through.

I have updated my PS and it still keeps doing it.

Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this issue?

Sounds like a mundane RAM/ swap file issue, i.e. running out of it. Without any system info and details about the actions and images nobody can be certain, but I'd wager a guess that this is perfectly normal, since PS doesn't release memory immediately even if a file is closed. You would have to make regular manual purges.

Mylenium I'm running Windows 10 and the actions are a simple contrast and resize of Jpeg images.

My solution ATM is to simply delete the adjusted images frm the saved folder and re-run the automated batch again. PS will generally run through them all, even as many as 1000 images without stopping.

The common number for stopping is at 101 images but occasionally PS will go into the 200s before stopping.

Happy to hear further thoughts based on this info.

Cheers for the input too, guys.

Are you files being oen process saved and closed one at at time or are all 101 documents open in Photoshop when Photoshop stops working? If the documents opened are not closed Photoshop may exhaust your machine resources and hang.

JJMack, no, they're opening and closing one at a time.

Unfortunately, I am also facing a very similar problem and posted my problem on Adobe Community

However, I haven't got any solution yet. Please inform me if you get any solution from any sources.

Thank you so much.
