Bei Bearbeitung in Camera RAW - GPU Beschleunigung wird abgeschaltet

Hallo,

wenn ich ein Foto in Photoshop und dann in Camera RAW bearbeiten möchte, kommt der Hinweis: "Der Grafikprozessor ist auf einen nicht behebbaren Fehler gestoßen. Aufgrund eines Laufzeitfehlers wurde die GPU-Beschleunigung für den Rest der Sitzung deaktiviert.

when I want to edit a photo in Photoshop and then in Camera RAW

• Are you using the ACR app or the filter from within Photoshop?
• If you are using the app, what format do you save in from Photoshop and how do you try to open it in ACR?

@jane-e also ich bearbeite mein Foto in Lightroom und öffne dann in Photoshop als Smartobjekt zur weiteren Bearbeitung. Benutze dabei auch Filter/Camera Raw-Filter.  Gespeichert wird es als PSD.

Hey, @SPORT00180. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. In addition to what @jane-e asked, please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System Info> Copy and paste it into a text document, then upload and attach it here.

Does this happen when you use any image, or after a certain amount of continuous usage? 

Follow the steps in the content here to apply any pending updates for the Nvidia 5070 GPU in your machine: https://adobe.ly/3KzqAAp

After this, follow these steps to reset the GPU info & Logs location is %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw. A shortcut to get to this folder on Windows is:

• Press the Windows + R
• Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw
  
  
• Rename the GPU & Logs folder in this directory by adding .old at the end. (GPU.old & Logs.old)
• Restart Photoshop, which should capture the updated driver & hardware capabilities.

@Sameer K  ich habe die Empfehlungen durchgeführt. Nach längerer Bearbeitung trat der Fehler wieder auf.

Danach habe ich den Grafikprozessor in den Voreinstellungen Leistung deaktiviert. Dann trat der Fehler bislang nicht mehr auf. 

Korrektur: Heute früh habe ich ein anderes Bild im Filter RAW bearbeitet, prompt kam der Fehler nach einiger Zeit wieder. Der Grafikprozessor im RAW Filter wurde ausgeschaltet. Das heisst von Photoshop ist das Öffnen des RAW Filter nicht mehr möglich.

Thanks for the update. Please update to the latest versions of Camera Raw and Photoshop. While at it, check if using Photoshop (beta) helps with the behavior.

@Sameer K Photoshop, Camera Raw und Lightroom Classic ist auf neuesten Stand und der Fehler tritt immer noch auf.

@Sameer K  Hier noch mal eine Erklärung wann der Fehler auftritt: Zunächst bearbeite ich ein RAW Bild in Lightroom Classic. Danach öffne ich es als Smartobjekt in Photoshop 2026. Dort gehe ich auf Filter-Camera-RAW-Filter. Dann gehe ich zu den Presets und probiere einige aus.

Nach einiger Zeit kommt der Fehler: "Der Grafikprozessor ist auf einen nicht behebbaren Fehler gestoßen. Aufgrund eines Laufzeitfehlers wurde die Grafikbeschleunigung für den Rest der Sitzung deaktiviert".

Thank you for reaching out! Could you please try these steps:

• Find C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Adobe\CameraRaw\Cache2, and delete the Cache2 folder. 
• Find the camera raw plugin in the file explorer C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\File Formats\Camera Raw.8bi and delete this .8bi file. This would remove Camera Raw. Now we re-install the plugin by following the steps here:  https://adobe.ly/4mGBP7m

@Srishti Bali ich habe deine Empfehlung durchgeführt, leider ist der Fehler immer noch vorhanden. Mir ist auch aufgefallen, das ich eine zeitlang warten muss, bis ich Photoshop schließen kann.

Hi @SPORT00180! Thank you for trying out the suggested steps! Here are a few more you can try for a fix:

1) Open Windows Settings: Go to System > Display > Graphics. Click Advanced graphics settings, and toggle OFF Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. Reboot your system.

2) Open NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D settings > Global Settings > Select High Performance NVIDIA GPU as Preferred Graphics Processor. 

3) In Photoshop, from Edit > Purge > All. Also, in Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw > Performance. Click on "Reset GPU Support" and Purge Cache".

7) Sometimes a simple update to a driver doesn't work the best; it can leave residual, deeply rooted files behind. You can try using a tool like Display Driver Uninstaller for a clean uninstall and then reinstall the latest Studio GPU driver: How to clean install My GPU driver with DDU? - Microsoft Q&A

@Noel Orridge vielen Dank für deine Unterstützung. Ich habe deine Vorschläge durchgeführt und an diesem Tag schien es zu funktionieren. Es gab keine Meldung. Heute am 29.12. habe ich neue Bilder bearbeitet und leider wieder das gleiche Dilemma.
