When I add text to my photos, they are blurry once saved. Why are they blurry?

Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% of the layered and the resulting image with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

Did you attach to an email? That would t work. You need to return to the forum online, to add attachments. But you were also asked for a screen shot, please do that too (but not by email).

I did see that I have to do that after I had posted already. I'm going to
check out a couple of other replies before I post the pictures. :)--

Wow.That was pretty snotty.  Sorry, I don't stare at my phone 24/7. I do have a life and I am doing other things as well. I am not comfortable posting pictures of my granddaughter for the entire world to see. I was hoping to maybe get some answers without having to do that. I wasn't waiting for anyone to ask me questions. I was looking for answers. Sheesh. I'm ok without your help. Thank you.

We don't need to see the image itself, only the dimensions in pixels (HxW) which as outlined and shown below. Can be shown (or just reported) in Image Size dialog set to pixels:

ImageSize.jpg

Also, if you view this text and image at 100% zoom, does it look blurry? It is important to view at this zoom ratio for the most accurate preview of your image data where you are viewing 1 image pixel with 1 display pixel.

It would be helpful to others if you could explain how you resolved the issue.

Oh shoot, sorry. I went into my settings and then preferences in Ps. All I did was change my Image Resize back to Original. I believe it was in 800 pixels. 😊8)

I am trying to find that information but don't see it. When I choose my photo in PS the only thing I see are options for edits. Where do I check for all of this info. I see nothing to click on that says image. Sorry, amateur here. 🥴

Is this for web or print. If it is for print the resolution is too low. Should be at 300 ppi.
