I am one of the Brother Printer users who found that in the last week of trying to use the Photoshop app (auto-updated as it is running on a CC subscription), I go to print and the document & print window force close w/ no crash notice. On checking the printer queue, the request never makes it to the actual printer. (I have never had this issue before and I have been a photoshop user for around 25 years, back when you could get it on a CD-ROM. I need my files to print to color-check before going to press.) There appears to be a number of users with this same issue specific to brother printers as seen in this post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/photoshop-crashes-when-printing/td-p/...
Steps followed & sysinfo below:
system: Windows 11, update 24h2
app: CC Photoshop (most recent update)
printer: Brother HL-L3270CDW
color profile: CMYK, custom setup for colormatch to printer
file setup: have tried PSD, PNG, and JPG (7.75"x7.75" document, 300DPI)
-Hold down 'Space Bar' while selecting print option from File menu; no change in results (NCIR from here on)
-Uninstalled Printer from Device Manager and reinstalled; restarted computer. NCIR
-Uninstalled Printer from System> Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners, restarted computer; NCIR
-Deleted Photoshop preferences folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025\Adobe Photoshop 2025 Settings. on repopulation of folder, NCIR
-restarted computer after folder repopulation; NCIR
-Used SHIFT+ CTRL + ALT on booting program to force settings folder reset; NCIR

Hi, thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry about the trouble!
Please go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.
Meanwhile, try Photoshop Beta to check if you experience the same behavior there. You can check out more about Photoshop Beta here: https://adobe.ly/3WRU52O
Thanks,
Nikunj
