The brush outline won't toggle back and forth after updating to 24.4.0 today with caps lock. It won't appear as a brush outline or with the mask. Anyone else having the issue?
I take it you have checked Preferences > Cursors? It sounds like you know that Caps Lock toggles the cursor to just the crosshairs.
Is GPU acceleration still available to you? Try Opt > Right clicking with the brush selected to see if the brush resize widget still works.
What software version are you running, and what hardware?
The known issues for Macs with Photoshop apppears to have been last updated a week ago, which has to be too long for them to be up to speed with 24.4 bugs.
