Hi there, I'm running Ps 2023 on an iPad 9 gen/iPadOS 16.5.1. I'm having this issue - the square brackets shortcuts don't work on my bluetooth Apple keyboard (Italian layout) for increase/decrease brush size. Square brackets are activated by pressing opt+รจ/+, they do work when typing text in Ps, but they don't work as shortcuts. Anyone knows a workaround for this? Is there a way to change the keyboard shorcuts settings in Ps/iPad ? Thanks anyone.

I just tested on my Magic Keyboard (American English layout) and the square brackets work as expected to change the brush size. I know this won't help you, but it seems to be limited to the Italian (and possibly other) languages.
Also, you can't run PS 2023 on an iPad afaik. I have version 4.7.

Thanks for answering Jane.
indeed it's a bit frustrating knowing it works fine with English keyboards, having a different one ๐ And yes of course you're right about the program version, I have Ps 4.7 too, Ps2023 is on my iMac.
Hope Adobe implements keyboard shortcuts customization for the iPad version soon!
Thanks.

Hi Roberto,
I guess the Ps for iPad is a different experience.
Enable the Use pressure for size option and this changes the brush size depending on the pressure you apply with the pencil.
This is a good explainer from Adobe
Let us knw how you go

Thanks a lot mj for your answer,
I appreciated the link and I am enjoying the Ps/iPad experience.
As a comic book artist used to draw on graphic tablets I need both pen pressure sensitivity and capability to quickly change the brush size with a proper keyboard shortcut (or a gesture!).
Thanks!

Hey @robertoz26105853,
Thnx for the feedback.
Beyond what we discussed, I have not found a way to change the brush size.
Your two options are:
Hope you can make that work.

Thanks for your help,
I hope the future improvements of Ps for iPad will include customizable keyboard shortcuts in order to set up this one. I do use pen pressure sensibility for fine tuning the brush size, but while drawing it has not the same effect as changing the maximum brush diameter itself.
