Brush strokes skipping

1. Photoshop 22.5.1

2. MacOS Big Sur 11.6 on Retina Macbook Pro 2015 using a Wacom Cintiq Pro 24" tablet updated to the latest driver

3. Skips happen every other brush stroke typically in the beginning and occasionally in the middle of the stroke. Skips occur on all brushes, even the standard ones. I've tried all the different Ps graphics settings, reinstalling Ps, resetting brush preferences, deleting and reimporting brushes, turning off different brush parameters (build up, texture, etc), adding an extra scratch disk, reinstalling Wacom drivers, resetting Wacom driver settings, VRAM reset, updating MacOS, changing pens, changing pen nibs, I've tried everything I can think of or have seen in other posts but it still skips! This looks like a Photoshop specific problem as other drawing programs on my computer don't have this issue.

4. I just need brush lines to be clean, not skipping all the time.

Have you tried installing an earlier version of the Wacom driver? I once had an issue with my tablet that I solved by doing this.
