Bug comando ctrl + alt + shift + e / nova camada fica invisível

Ao executar o comando Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E para gerar uma nova camada mesclando todas as configurações das camadas anteriores, eu perco todas as edições feitas anteriormente e a camada fica invisível/transparente e a foto fica apresentando alguns bugs.

Poderiam me ajudar?
