When I close the error report it closes photoshop!!!

What version of Photoshop and what operating system are you using?

What are you doing when you get an error?

What exactly is the error message?

Hello Dave. My system is windows 10 on a Dell optiplex 3020. GPU Intel (R) HD graphics 4600. I can't open adobe raw anymore. (Requires GPU acceleration) all drivers up to date. I sent a report to Adobe, they sent a pop up - 'Adobe has found a solution or workaround for the recent error' trie to follow advice - no good. Closing the pop up closes photoshop. Do I need a new GPU or windows 11 or both?. It's the latest photoshop.

@roybent your computer does not meet minimum system requirements to run Photoshop.

Besides your graphics card (not DirectX12 compatible, not enough VRAM, 400 ops/sec speed), your Optiplex only has 4 GB RAM (8 is required).

You can't run any recent versions of Photoshop CC on this old of a machine.

Thank you Kevin, any suggestions for an upgrade.  A good but reasonable price. I'm living in Portugal and have access to Amazon Spain. Roy

What error are you getting? What does it say?

Does it happen at certain moment when you're working in Photoshop?

Have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences? Or restarting Photoshop or your computer?

Hi @roybent when your PS crashes and the error report comes up it will close after you send. You need to give us more details about what is occurring in order to better assist you.
