C++ UXP Hybrid plugin SDK Default example won't run

I have the latest versions of Photoshop and UXP installed for Windows.
But the example of the standard hybrid plugin does not start for me, and throws an error:
" Execute as testMyEcho command failed Failed to load Addon "
